My Ball (Neshikihebi) hasn't eaten in about 3 1/2 months...whenever I put him in his feeding cage he sniffs the mouse and tries to get out of the cage...he's killed one mouse but didn't eat it...anyone have an idea what to do? He seems active and as far as I can tell, healthy...I will probably take him to the vet to get checked out but I don't want him getting stressed from the 45 minute drive. Anyone's input is much appreciated.

how often you trying? devi my bp went for 2 months with out eating, the problem was i was trying to often i waited 10 days and after 2 months she ate, i stressed her out by trying to often to get her to eat....

What is the history on the snake - how old - feeding schdule, etc. probably just a winter fast but hard to tell without mor info.
