My friend picked these up at a show a few months back, and I finally got out to his store with my camera.

He was told by the seller, that these were captive bred genetic granites of the sellers line.

He got them for $35 per, so I told him for that price I was leary, but you can't go wrong they are nice snakes.

ok on with the pictures...........
I'm sorry they were taken inside with flash, but a few came out ok

first the male

and the female.......

thanks for looking and your thoughts

That het. albino female is from a het. albino/het. pied male bred to a het. albino female. She is a het. albino but clearly not a het. pied (just look at her). She is 312 grams and is feeding regularly on ft mice. She ate once on ft weanling rats, but never went back. What you'll notice with her is that she likes to eat two mice and then not feed for two to three weeks. This is just an observation from your photos and there is a slight chance I am incorrect on one or all of my statements. Just havin' fun! Honestly, it's a good looking snake. Can't beat the price.

damn steve you are absolutly right, and you can see all that from the photo. I'm impressed.

actually, my friend works mostly with large boids, colubrids, boas, and hots.

He thought I might know if they were really genetic.

they look like granites to me, but I don't have a granite project going, so I thought I'd ask what others thought.

and as stated if they prove out great, but if not, $35 is a good deal.

thanks for the reply

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Thanks Bill, hope no one else minds a little humor!
