Persistence really pays off

It's funny but this ghost male is only 20 months old and weighs ony 401 grams and yet his mate (an ultra clean zero-black tipping vanishing hypo female) is 2 and half years old and weighs a whopping 550 grams. I've been trying or should I say, he's been trying for the past 10 days since her 1st shed this year but seems to not be able to "connect" or do his job....well, until last night...lo and behold, this picture below was when they got "connected" and in a "trance" for about half an hour. I'll try again tonight and see if he can do the job again. I think I will rename him "Napoleon Bonaparte" if he sires some babies...lol...

Yeah, so far 3 adult females are "actively " mating but I got 3 more that show no interest at all...maybe after their 2nd shedding, they'll be more receptive.
