Hope to get a snow or two from this pair

Conserving_herps Apr 19, 2006 07:14 PM

These 2 albinos definite het for anery have been at it daily for the past 10 days and the female has been extremely willing to mate with him...and so far, each night has been a successful "connection". I hope to produce at least one snow even if the 25% chance of producing them is all I have to hope for.

Thanks for looking.

You should get a Snow...

Amel het Anery X Amel Het Anery

1/4 snow
2/4 Amel het anery
1/4 Amel

good luck

well, yeah on paper i have a 25% chance of getting a snow but those are just odds. I may not get any snow at all and all albinos or I may get all snows... that is, if the snake god is kind to me...lol...They are also both first timers, which in my experience usually produce only a small clutch...i'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks Zenny.

Hey Ray,

I'm extremely happy to see that everything works well for you this year. You are a good man, and you deserve it.

Hope the gods will be with you, and you will have some snow this summer.

What's about Lola? are you waiting with her until next season?

Good luck,
Nevo

Hey buddy,

how are you? well, Lola is not ready for this season as she is under 400 grams...so I'll just wait until next season. She's way too valuable (at least the genes that she carries)to make her breed this season and risk her health.

How are your hatchlings doing? Have they all settled down?

Concentrate on feeding and maybe by next season, yours will be ready to breed.

Did you get my email regarding your question about rack system?

I understand, can't wait to see her babies next year.

All my hatchlings settled down nicely, i'm extremely pleased with my Selectively Bred Serpents .

Keep us updated,

Hey Nevo,

That's a real nice tricolor. The pic you sent me about a month ago was not clear...but now i can see how clean and nice that tricolor you got...it's double het anery/hypo or double het for anery/albino? Can't remember....but either way, keep feeding every 4 days so your collection can breed in 2007.

thanks for posting.

Thanks Ray,

My camera is quite lame, sorry about that.
This female is Tri color het anery, 66% het albino who was produced by Marc.b.

Here are 2 more pictures, of an albino male (that as much as I know was produced by Terry), and a tangerine DH Ghost female.

Thanks for the suggestions,
