why are people in the ball python community so quick to jump and call everything with a slight pattern or color varation a morph i dont get it

people that do this for sheer profit should quit they @#^@ up the trade and take away from the people that truely love the animals and im talking about the people who buy up imports n think since there a lil off color they may be worth mucho dinero in any other species they may be sold at a slightly higher price but as what they are nice/different normals nothing more nothing less i will admit the polymorphism of bps is interesting but unless the morph is truely visiable not something you have to stare at for a while or put next to a normal to notice its not worth selling at a higher price

Also remember that we have recently proven some stunning homozygous versions of some relatively subtle hets (White Diamond and Vin Russo High Yellow Lemons for example). Any slightly different animal has the potential to be a het with a stunning super. Of course most will not be but people can always hope.

i understand that but think about all the normals that get advertised at 200 when their only worth 10 i think it takes away from the hobby and i think the yellow bellies thing has gotten a little out of hand just advertise the things as het ivories like everyone asks if what they have is a yellow belly like if they were that common ivories would have showed up a long time ago
