So I am pretty experienced w/ amphibians and I was in a pet store today and found a Red and Black Walking Frog. It is beautiful and already eating 1/8 inch crickets for me. I have it on moist papertowel w/ a water bowl and a plant that it hides under for security. There is seran wrap over the top to keep the humidity up and the temp stays about 78 during the day to about 72 at night. Everything about this frog tells me that it is a tropical to sub tropical species so I figured this was the best set up. My question is--Does anyone know anything specific to this species or have experience w/ them? Some things I am interested in are where they are from exactly, scientific name, full diet, breeding activity, etc... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
