Can you put in a 29 gal tank? Im starting it tomorrow so far all I got in it is the false bottom. Is it ok to mix the oragne ones and the yellow ones? Ok one last question my tinc tank doesnt have moss in the bottom and I want to put moss in this one, what kind? Thank you again for answering my what seem to be never ending questions.

5 would be the absolute max, but it would have to be heavily planted and you wouldn't probably get any eggs from them. I would go for a trio.

Yep, orange and yellow are just variations (like blonde and red hair in humans). You should not mix the venezuelan leucs with the guiana leucs though (guiana leucs just started coming in this year and I have not seen any for sale yet).

I have tried wild collected moss (from here in michigan and my uncle's place in washington), tropical moss (the pillow stuff), and java moss. Only the java moss has not died. To grow java moss you have to keep it wet all the time though.

Josh,
I have 2 yellow and 1 orange Leuc and I would like to put them together but, I was told not to because 2 of them are green footed and the orange is a "regular". I am confused.

for moss i would try sheet or pillow moss. both do great in high humidkty. don't use the pre-dried stuff, it molds really easy. good luck!
