Need to heat a 48" tall Python cage...

phiff1 Apr 20, 2006 01:07 PM

looking for opinions on the best way to do this. I like how this snake perches so I want to have heat coming from the top of the cage. Do you think it would work having heat lamps on the inside of the roof? I'm worried about this very curious snake burning herself.
Thanks in advance.

I really like offering vertical temperature gradiants for arboreal species. The best/safest way to do this is with a Radiant Heat Panel. They can be mounted right to the top of the cage and won't burn the snake even though they will still heat your cage.

Contact Bob at Pro Products and give him the specifics of your cage. Trust me, he'll want to know EVERYTHING. He's a good guy and very knowledgeable.

Yeah, you were right. Just have to scrap together enough funds for the cage and panels...
