Babies Male or Female?

PoohBear03031 Jul 30, 2003 03:46 AM

My babies are about four months old, I have tried to see what sex they are but had no luck. They are housed together, and I watch them very carefully for any signs of aggression toward each other. I would like to sex them as soon as possible though, just to be safe. Anyone have any tips?

Just keep an eye out for aggression towards each other (especially when feeding). If they all get a long well, you dont really have to worry about it. I have 2 males and a female in a 20 gallon tank that are all about a year old and they all get along well. Some males get are aggressive but it isnt always the case. You will always have one that grows faster than the others but if you notice that one doesnt put on weight like the others, try seperating during feeding to make sure it gets plenty to eat.

Good Luck
