Cheap Housing

bigguykev36 Jul 30, 2003 03:54 AM

I'm looking for cheap housing for leopard Geckos. As I find creative the whole "rubbermaid" idea, I like something with a slightly better asthetic. can I do a screen cage with leos? or should I stick with cheap petco 10/20 gallon tanks? Thanks!!!!

I would stick with the glass tanks myself unless you were going to build a rack for babies or adults.

go around to pet stores in your area, try the smaller ones that only have fish. ask them if they have any used/cracked aquariums for sale. they usually are fine except they dont hold water. they usually have them for very cheap. i get 36" long x 18" wide by 13" high for $15. lol i already have 3 of those but im only using one since i built my customs.most places arent very reluctant to sell them to u for cheap, if they dont hold water they are useless to them so they are actually turning profit beause they would prolly go to trash. unless you are using it as a focal point of the room(sumtimes they have ugly water stains on them)they work great.
good luck.
