i would definitly put a plant in in, maybe a small brom or some kind of vine to creep over it, a creeping fig maybe. whatever you do it will look awsome!

Nice statue (I swear ive seen it somewhere before). Why not fill the mouth with water and let the frogs use it to deposit tadpoles in (at least thats what id do).

Here's where you saw something very like it, but not exactly the same. My son, who is a sculptor, created a few "burping frogs" as a kind of joke, and Porkchop got the last one. Hers leaks, so unless she seals it inside with silicone, it won't due for a holding water for tadpoles. But it had previously contained chives on his window sill, so will hold dirt and plants. I should probably post some pictures of his "poison fart frog" creation and the "chicken draqon." I have one of his few "poison fart frogs," and the only "Chicken Dragon" he ever created. He does this stuff for fun, to relieve the consigments of carving the Virgin Mary in marble, or tomb stone angels. He puts uvulas on the burping frogs and testicles on the "poison fart frogs." Real frogs have neither, and he knows this. Few people get the humour. I haven't yet met a person yet who thinks the "chicken dragon" is the least bit funny. Yet, it's all I can do to keep from rolling on the floor with laughter every time I look at it. It's not even a rooster; it's a sort of hen with fangs.

You should definately post pictures of the poison fart frog and chicken dragon. That statue is great! I love the offbeat sense of humor that it sounds like you son puts into his sculptures.

Thanks,
