is that a savannah monitor in there? im new to the monitors (duh, bought a sav before i heard about ackies, whitethroats, blackthroats, etc haha), and i was wondering if i could give my savannah baby a swim in the tub like that. it has a water bowl to get in, i just didnt know how they do with large amounts of water for a short time. i thought they were more of a semi-arid species. all in all, my monitor is really cool and i really like him/her. its still snappy, but i have several snapping turtles and ally snappers that are more intimidating than this guy could ever be. great pics!

Yeah, that is a sav underneath the dumerils. I soak my monitors every once in a while, its not on schedule or anything but every once in a while.

cheers, andrew

I have an old Minolta dImage 7. It does really well when there is a lot of light (outside), but it's metering isn't that hot, and doesn't take near as good of inside pictures.

If I were to buy one today, it would undoubtedly be the latest Canon EOS digital SLR.
