Ok, so I'm still looking for anyone (reliable breeder) that has the argentine rainbows, guyana rainbows and columbian rainbow boas.

Also, Jeff...how do you tell the difference between baby guyanas and someone just trying to sell another columbian? I remember the striping as you mentioned below but is there any way to be absolutely sure without someone that just knows the local from getting it over there?

I really want to start some breeding projects (or setting up babies for the future) with these three types of rainbows. I'm just having trouble finding anyone that deals in them. :/

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
If anyone breeds these, please email me: tenor_goddess2002@yahoo.com

Exceptional Quality Snakes (see Breeders and Dealers) used to have very nice Argentines. Check with them.
I have two gravid female Colombians now but don't know when they will drop--they are late.
Also, Dan Pearson in Gainesville, Florida produces outstanding Colombian rainbows.

Amanda,
. Babies are sometimes difficult to identify. Baby Colombian Rainbows are especially difficult to identify. Some of them look vey much like baby Brazilian Rainbows and some look much like baby Guyanan Rainbows. The Argentinians are pretty easy to identify because of their gray or gray tan color. Buy from someone you trust or someone who will show you PICs of the parents. Patience is important when building a good collection. I have shopped for true Peruvian Rainbows for over a decade and so far have only bought 4 of them. The three subspecies you are looking for should all be available either on kingsnake.com classifieds or at the big shows this year.

will let you guys know how I come out in finding these (of course I'll post pics and such.
Right now, I'm waiting on a male argentine boa (not a rainbow) to arrive. Can't wait to see this one.
