this is one of our females in her box in her pre lay shed . i am only posting this because of last weeks discusion about the box . as you can see when set up the right way with the box always in your cages with vermiculite. your females will be use to them as they use them most of the time anyway for a humidity box .and when they lay mine always drop them in their boxes because it is a moist and safe place to them when the lid is put on and covered with bedding keep in mind these snakes love to be covered by something .and they love humidity . this is only my opinion .

I agree they need a hide box, mine have all year round but the sods dont seem to want to lay in it, i have had some success with threm laying in peat but never vermiculite and only occasionally sphagnum moss.
