Too Rare?

Had a friend put up my snake for sale. The reason for selling was I was unable to pair it off.

The snake was a Coluber hippocretis. The specimen was of a rarely seen European origion. He was glossy black with yellow markings and a salmon pink venter at 4' in length.

In a word the most gorgeous morph of this species. As to feeding, he eats small adult rats like candy.

Interestingly...no one even made a serious inquiry into it.

I saw it-and was tempted. But I, like you, am SURE I wouldn't have a prayer of finding a mate for it! Awesome snake, though....
