HELP!!!!!!

buggsteer Apr 21, 2006 03:32 PM

Im not sure if this is a big deal, but im worried. Last night I was getting my male ball python out, he was under a hide with my female. They were laying on top of each other like they always do, but as I was pulling him out, I noticed a red spot on him. I looked, and it looked like they were in the middle of mating. I layed him back in the cage and he went under the hide with the female. Is this really bad? Im not familar with the breeding process, I wasnt even aware that these two were even able to breed. I am just worried that I may have hurt either of them while I pulled them apart. Any help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Jim Stroh

In the other thread you said there was blood.

how much??
do you know who it came from??

A red spot isn't much to go on, can you give some more details about that.

exposed hemipenes aren't necessarily a problem, but if they where bleeding or suffered trauma it might be.

some more details are needed to best help you.
