Mojave x Spider Rocks!!

wingert1 Apr 21, 2006 11:55 PM

I picked up a copy of "The Complete Ball Python" ( Which is a most have for sure. TONS of info. and just KILLER pics. Great job Kevin and all that helped. Now I can show this book to people when trying to explain what I am into and they think I am less crazy) Anywho, I can't get over the Mojave Spider cross. They really look cool. Super clean with ghost like qualities. I guess the congrats for these go to Renaissance and NERD. Killer animal guys. I love the idea that in a few years with realitively inexpensive morphs and some work even I can produce something this cool to call my own. All the more reason not to sell any female mojaves or female spiders for that matter. Does anyone have more pics of these guys? How many have been produced? If more than one, do they all look like the one in Kevin's book or are they more variable? Any other info???

Kevin

I think I remember someone a ways back before I ever got to see one saying they did not think much of this cross. If that person reads this let me know what is wrong with you cause your goofy.

I produced the Spider Mojaves. I produced the first ones with Kevin's female Spider, and the others were produced with my female Spider. As far as I know, no one else produced any. I produced 2.4 Spider Mojaves, but 2.1 were stolen in November.

I'm sure one day it will come out who bought or has the stolen animals.

I'll get some new pics for you tomorrow of the ones I still have in my collection, and thanks again for the compliment on the Spider Mojaves.
They are awesome, and so are Bumbles

Wow that really is a bummer about the stolen ones. It really hurts when something that [bleep]y happens. How did they get stolen?
I really do like them so I hope you take lots of pics. Don't be shy. Post a ton if time allows. How long ago where they produced? Also did they change much as far as color goes from hatcling though maturity?

Since there arent as many of these animals do you think there is a good chance of finding the person/people responsible? They basically have to hold on to them for quite some time dont they before they could get rid of them without arousing suspicion. Most criminals are stupid and probably wouldnt have the patience to wait it out. Good luck, I hope you catch 'em.

If we ever get a paternity test for ball pythons like exists for most domestic animals (and even a few fish for crying out loud) and you saved samples from the stolen animals they could never even sell offspring without risk of being uncovered.

may be possible soon. Ceia Chien (EBN) is having it done for a recent litter she had (Boas).
