Hello - well I have succeeded in posing a single photo but have not figured out how to post multiple photos. I had wanted to show you the nice rattlesnake who visited my tortoise pen last week, as I have several photos, and the king snake who visited this week. We are just north of Phoenix. Anyone with an ID of the specific species, please advise. One member of my tortoise group insists it is a Mohave type but I am not sure. Thanks to Jerry. If anyone knows please let me know how I include multiple photos.

I agree,
It's definitely a Diamond Back, and a nice one at that.
The Mojave has wider white bands on the tail then black. The bands on your snake look almost even.
You are a lucky person to have such visitors. At least once a year I try to make a trip to Care Free Arizona. It kills me all the different reptile's you have out their.
Now if they can just slow down the development and preserve the land.

Post more of your finds! I love reptile pics.

Here is a picture of a typical Mojave green. Looks way different in the tail then yours.
