Awesome! I have yet to encounter one alive. They are pretty common in my area but the only ones ive come across have been DOR. Ive spent countless hours road cruising and flipping with no luck. Thanks for posting the pic!

In my experience I have found them out later in the evening than scarlet kings. Although I have found SK as late as midnight-1 a.m., most often I find them just after dusk. The scarlet snakes however are seen well into the night around here...
Maybe cruise a bit later for them where you are too..

Yeah I may have to try that. I usually cruise early like from 7-10 mostly searching for toads for the hogs.
