"Copper Top" Dumerils...

Biophiliacs Apr 22, 2006 03:18 PM

Hello all. I have been pretty busy so I havent had time to post much. Anyone who has emailed me to see where Ive been... sorry I didnt get back to you(that email account had several hundred unread messeges on it, lol.) I hope all is well with all the nice little boas. I was cleaning out the bunk and I got a chance to take a few pictures... unfortuantely I didnt get any decent shots of the "Pastel" group... most being in shed. The shot below is of one from the other side of my Dumerils family that produced the mini and a few patternless bellies. This little male has a lot in way of color, particularly copper, hence "CopperTop" is his handle. I didnt get a decent side shot of him but a good majority of his side pattern is dispersed making his sides very white... great snake, upcoming male breeder.

Beatiful snake..I can't wait to see how much of his color he retains at maturity! I am curious about the clear belly! In ball pythons a clear belly implies no speckling on the belly at all. Does anyone have a pic of a good example of a dumerils with a clear belly?

I just picked up a 5 foot female from a reptile store where my boyfriend works. Someone dropped her off for free and so we got a pretty good deal on her. She is very dark, but has a nicer belly than my other two! Here are some pics...

Enjoy!
