My IJ did the same thing about a month ago. She was in shed, but decided to take a rat that I offered her. Immediately after she had swallowed it she began to shed. She otherwise wouldn't have shed for at least a few days if not a week. My theory is that as she was eating, the skin stretched and came loose around her mouth and head area, then she just went with it and started to slough it.

- And you're right, this sub-forum is dead. Its a pity.
