Wanting a Pac-Man

AFTfanatic Apr 23, 2006 03:47 AM

Hi, I've kept several reptiles for a few years, and want an impressive amphibian. I think a Pac-Man would be right up my alley. My questions are, would a ten gallon tank be adequate for an adult of either gender? Also, what is their preffered temperature? The setup I have in mind has a bed-a-beast substrate, large water dish, and hiding flowerpot or something similar. Are live or artificial plants better? Also, what would be the best way to heat the tank if I need something to achieve their required temp? Finally, do they need flourescent/UV lights? Sorry for the all the questions, but i want to give the frog the best habitat possible. Thanks a bunch!

10 gallon is fine as they don't move much, just keep temps 70-87 at all times. UVB isn't needed. live plants are good, but your frog will probally uproot most of them, so use something hardy like pothos vine. to heat the tank use a basking bulb or a under tank heater. good luck!
