Can I coat the raw wood with something that would make it easier to keep clean but not to slippery for the iggy to climb?
What do you use for cage furnishings that look nice but dont require major dismantling to clean.

Spray-on polyurethane, or a load of lacquer.
Truck-bed liner is non-skid, easy to spray on, or even paint on, and it is paintable once dry.
Only problem is, it stinks like hell, and you have to wait a while for the fumes to go away. On the positive, it is nearly indestructable, easy to clean, and completely seals off the wood.
