Our new B/P ate for us!!!!! Yey!!!

Update on the b/p that I got from Petco. I got him a mouse on Friday, I put the b/p in a styrofoam cooler with papertowels down, and I put in the little white mouse, and we watched him and everything. He smelled the mouse one time, and then he grabbed it and ate it in about 5 minutes. Is this too fast? Should I get him a bigger mouse next time? I was really worried about getting him to eat from all of the stories I have heard. Then two days later he left a poopy in the cage.
Does he sound like he is pretty healthy? We have been handling him for about 5-10 minutes every other day. Is this enough? Also, I have the astroturf for his subtrate. Do I need to spray him with water for humidity? How do you tell when the snake is too dry?
Thanks for all your help so far.

Good job he seems healthy some are just fast eaters (My little lady doesnt get hungry a lot)I have never heard of a poo that quikly but it justdepends on how many feedings were put into your BP before you purchased her. The bedding is not one of the most approved of Aspen Cedar and Newsapaper are also good.
