Do you mean gray or green? My gray TFs will not stop
breeding
Please, more on your breeding Gray TF; housing, M/F ratios, did you set up a rain chamber? I've witnessed my grays in amplexus a few times, but no egg production. Did the breeding coorespond w/ outside conditions?
I have 4 males and 2 females.I also have a homemade
rain chamber. Outside weather not a factor.Make it rain
an hour or so after dark
I hope this helps if not I have over 600 froglets and tadpoles
Hey thanks... so I guess my first guess was correct as to adopt the "rain, warm, rain period"... I'm intending to give them a cold shower of 2 weeks and feed them the minimum, and then stop the shower for 2 weeks and feed them every other day, and then go back to the first step for another 2 weeks, that way they shld breed like other treefrogs...
That's wat I did with my white's treefrogs and I had 100 froglets... =)
Wish me luck!
Geez-- I have 5 Gray TF froglets & have my hands full; They'll require lotsa fruitflies & an expanding enclosure...
Oh sorry I meant Green Treefrogs =)
