I had been anticipating this clutch for a couple of weeks. Ovulation occured the week before the symposium and she was right on schedule. This is the same pair that produced Summer, the hight orange that David Newman ownes, and several other very nice high yellow adults. Sorry for the crappy pics.....my eyes were out of commission from eye surgery. Now wish me luck!!!!!
First peek at eggs.....

All wrapped up......

and one to grow on.....

There were 24 eggs total, with 21 definate fertile, 1 questionable fertile, and 2 slugs. Not bad for an 11 year old girl. I'm going to determine whether or not this will be her last clutch depending on how well she puts weight back on. If she has any more clutches in her, it's probably only going to be one. She has treated the chondro community very well over the last 5 years and I'm a very proud parent.
It seems as though the saturation within the egg box was a little too high during the first few days. I had some issues with condensation and mold on a couple of eggs......which died rather quickly. I decided to open the lid to allow a little more airflow and this has done the trick. The 19 remaining eggs are looking great at this point. It's hard to believe it's already been 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to week seven.
Thanks
