05 Mexican Milk

Steve_Craig Apr 24, 2006 08:25 AM

Shot this pic today of my 05 male. His bands are getting more & more yellow as he grows, though the picture does not show it due to camera flash. For their size, these annulata are stout little snakes.

I have a late '05 trio and they're only half the size of yours.
He looks great! Thanks for the pics.

Thanks Phil. He might be an early 05 but I'm not sure. All I know is he eats like there's no tomorrow.

That's funny. My '05 Jalisco and my daughter's corn like to wrap around my watch face to hold on, too. Your Mexican could be a cousin to my Jalisco, they look so much alike (except your's has more yellow on his head).

Great pic, Steve!

I agree that Jalisco and Mexican Milks have a very simular look about them. I know many milks can be a bit jumpy, but mine is very laid back. He's every bit as calm as my florida king.

Thats a fantastic looking snake> they are one of the smallest of the milks ?

Mexican Milks are in the 24-30 inch range, but for their length, they are stout snakes. The're not large compared to some of the South American/Central American Milks, but when compared to North American Milks, they're a pretty good sized milk.
