Hello, I have two babies that have lost their tails. One is a banana blizzard male who got caugter under his water bowl and his tail is starting to grow back as you can see in the picture. I was wondering how look it takes and do most grow back looking OK? Also on Sat I picked up a baby bandit jungle from friends of mine and on the way home my husband had to slam on the brakes and the deli cup with this baby fell and when I picked it up I saw she had lost her tail. Oh I was nearly in tears as she has the coolest looking tail. black and white abberant pattern to her tail, Now its all gone. SO on her I was wondering if she will still get a cool pattern or does the new tail growth cause even changes in the pattern she would have there? I have never had any tail loss with my geckos before so I am worried. I do not want them to look bad although a thicker tail is OK I just don't want to see two spike or a weird looking think start growing out of the stump. Is there anything we can do t omake the growth smooth and not deformed? The books do not tell anything about that. Thanks for any help on this. Deb Here are my two little babies:
