My bearded dragon has been brumating since late November, and he still hasn't awaken yet. That's almost 6 months! Does anybody have a beardy that do that? IS this a normal thing, or should I be worried? Thanks!

Brumation typically lasts 2-4 months, so 6 months is longer than normal. Have you started to raise temps up to normal basking temps and increased the amount of daylight? How does he look? Is he thin, wringly or otherwise not looking like a sleeping dragon should? Has he lost any weight during his brumation? Dragons should not loose too much weight while brumating though 50-75g is alright, especially with a long brumation. ANy more amounts and I would be concerned.
Has he been moving at all lately? Does he come out for a few hours every once in awhile or has he been sleeping solidly these past months? Have you tried taking him out and putting him in his basking spot or giving him a bath to stimulate him to drink?

Yes, he's been up once in awhile. I misted him to wake him, and he got up for me and ate a couple crickets then when back to sleep. I didn't want to do it anymore because I was afraid that might stress him! And to answer your question...yes, he's been sleeping very solidly. He woke up only 3 times that I know off, but that was directly due to my intervention.
I just take a look at him a second ago, and he is getting kindda wrinkly, but not too much...just a little. And I've tried turing the lights on in my room until 9, 10 pm at night, and that still didn't work. One thing I haven't tried putting him a warm bath, which I'm gonna do right now. Thanks!
