Wanting a Kingsnake

AFTfanatic Apr 24, 2006 07:07 PM

Hi, I had a cornsnake pass away a few weeks ago, and am thinking about getting another snake. I can't decide whether to get another corn, a king, or hognose. If I am to get a kingsnake, is there a particular species that is a good "starter" kingsnake? I have a twenty gallon long, and from everything I've read, a single one will fare well in it. I have knowledge on how to care for one, but I would like to know, what is the best way to heat the tank, and what is the preffered temp for the species you suggest? Thanks a bunch for any help!

A thayeri also know as variable kingsnakes. They're relatively small, wonderful colored morphs, and easy to take care of. Check out my website. Email if you have questions.

Here's some pics.
