hi.
the striped phase is simple recessive. breeding it with non-stripes will result in heterozygotes. as for other phases, there are not really well established names. there are amels
and what i have been calling "marbled," i am not sure how that gene works yet.
i have no problems asking 600/800 for nice amels, and easily a quarter of that for beautiful marbles and hets. the stripe phase does not effect my asking price, i consider it a by-product. most influential to price is color and pattern. a nice animal will always fetch a high price, while mediocre amels will go for less than 200.
