As some of you know, I am going to school to be a Vet tech. I had to practice x-rays. I decided to find out how many eggs my corn has. The picture of the x-ray is not as good as the actual x-ray. I counted 16-18 eggs (depending on overlap). I thought it was pretty neat and wanted to share with my friends, here on the forum.
Here is the two pics and one of her normally

there was a xray done of a ball python i think after eating a rat, you could see the rat on the xray was kind of neat.

your snake looks like shes "packed to the gills" with eggs, a co worker uses that phrase

Excesive X-Rays can be. Maybe if You checked every year that way it might cause a problem, but just once to see should be fine. They check pregnant dogs if there's a need, or if the owner wants to check litter size.

Agreed. The doctor that was supervising also said reptiles are a little more resistant to xrays than most. Although, we did two more than would have liked. The first two did not turn out because of the machine. Trust, me, I do not plan to ever xray this snake again, especially while she is gravid, unless it is absolutely necessary.
Thanks for the concern. She is laying right this minute though.
My BF made the joke that maybe we will get two headed snakes now!

So far, this snakes eggs look better than my first snakes' eggs. Despite the xrays.
I think I am going to lose 9 out of 21 on the first snakes' clutch. All the ones that looked like the shells were thicker are all getting that blue color to them, in spots. I am not giving up though. Going to wait until they collapse. Although, I have seperated them all. I have put them on perlite that is more dry than the stuff they were in, hoping to save them. Mind you, the first mix of perlite is not all that wet either. Also did the listerine thing. We shall see. -------fingers crossed---------
