That boa is just unreal. I can not believe it every time I see it. Major congratulation for all the hard work that went into making such a beautiful animal.
Please post more pictures.

want to be critical... but did you Photoshop that picture at all? I try not to get my nose into anything on this forum but... well I can see some pretty suspicious looking details in that picture that lead me to believe that it is photoshoped a little. I am not denying that, that boa is not red due to line breeding but that boa has undergone some pretty miraculous transformations in the past?!?

I know how you feel. I find myself thinking the same thing. I wish I knew if it was because I'm jealous of his "red" boa or....Maybe I just don't want to believe what my eyes are seeing.
I wish he would post some mega close ups of his boa. I'd like to get a real up close and personal view of those colors.
I'm looking at the picture. I can see that the boa has amazing color, but something isn't quite right. I can't put my finger on it. Some close up shots of him would help a lot.
BTW one of the things I've noticed is that the color is more "intense" "in between" the scales rather than on the acutal scales them selves. Just look at the head. It's got red scales and a "darker" red outline around them........
Actually I'm probably just jealous. Maybe that snake really is that color. I just keep remembering little "Neon". I'm sure most of you don't even know who that is/was.
Neon was a little "NEON GREEN" kingsnake(he was actually yellow and brown banded). His owner posted many pictures of him. Nobody believed he was really that color. This guy had purchased him as a green kingsnake. There was a HUGE fuss made about Neon's color. Then Neon shed. His beautiful green color went away with his shed. Neon had been dyed to look green.
BTW I'm not saying that I think that boa is dyed. It's just the bright "almost neon" colors made me think of that little green kingsnake.
Im not familiar with the neon green snake but it would seem to me that would likely be lethel to a snake .Attached is an older photo of the yellow lips on the guy that should put that conspriacy theory to rest ,wouldnt the tip of his nose and mouth be red as well with out white or yellow ? Thats rhetorical because Im not putting this up for the purpose of debate . No there is no photo shopping of this animal . That is the very reason for the albino underneath in the photos to dispell that theory as well while showing the dramatic color . I cant please everyone thats a given. I simply made a very special animal over a long period of time that has surpassed the general thoughts of what would be the next step in the sunglow evolution . Thanks Much >Darrin

I see what you mean I think the snake looks awesome as well, I know a while back people were trying to sell some blue ball pythons, when they were in shed they soaked them in Gatorade so the blue was kind of held up in the shed layer. If people want to settle the possibility of him photoshoping ( I think its real personally) he could upload a video of the animal, most digital cameras have video capabilities, just do a quick video of the little guy say next to the albino, upload it on say youtube.com and then post, that should settle all questions. Great looking animal Darian I cannot wait until there are more like him!

the year 2020. Way beyond any sunglows I've seen. I hope you understand the sceptisism (sp). Its just noone has seen anything like it before. But after seeing those pics, I'm a true believer. lol. You must be one happy fellow to see a sunglow gain that much color. I can only imagine what he will look like in a year or two. Did you have any other sunglows in the litter? Do you have any pics of the litter at birth? And can we please pics of the parents of that guy? Thanks.
Michael Burton
That is simply incredible. It will be great to watch that animal mature. Best of luck with it.
