Anerythristic type 2 - sonoran - new pic

Warren_Booth Apr 24, 2006 11:01 PM

Here are some new pics of one of my type II anerythristic sonoran boas from my own line. She is just over 4ft and downing large adult rats. She will be introduced to my albino male in the fall, so hopefully this time next year I will be waiting on a litter of dh blizzard boas. This girl is incredibly dark. She is unreal. Hope you like her.

cb 2004 albino. Produced from a new bloodline colombian bred to a het kahl strain. So this bloodline is strong as hell. He is in slough in the pic.

Chris Giliam.
Either way, a breeder in England imported some WC (or farmed) Albino Colombians. He bred them to a Het Kahl, and they were compatible. Thus, new line.

Hi,
That is exactly right. Chris Gillam of Boamorphs.co,uk in Liverpool, England, imported a pair of albinos from Colombia. He raised them and bred the male to a het albino Kahl strain and got a bunch of albinos and hets. So the lines were compatible, and what is great about this is that it adds new blood, and hence genetic diversity, into the somewhat inbred Kahl lines. So, hopefully, no more one eyed, etc in the future. Myself and Chris have worked out a few deals in the past to swap my type 2 anerythristic sonorans for various bits and pieces he had (het bloods, albinos, salmon hypos, poss dh sunglows), so we have both got what we wanted. In fact, he has all but two of the type 2's I produced from my line, including the only 2 males in existance. You should check out his site. He is a great guy to do business with.
I'll get some new pics of the male albino in a few days. He is in slough at the moment and should shed in a day or two.
