Eggs update! - FINALLY got your answer!

mattcbiker Apr 24, 2006 11:01 PM

Well, 7 weeks after copulation and 20 days post shed I came home from a weekend away to FINALLY find my Eastern laying her eggs...

Luckily she didn't lay them this weekend as she didn't even lay them in the nest box I made her but rather in a heap of aspen she prepared.

19 good looking eggs from her!!! I'll have to go back to my old post to see who guessed the closest... Here's the old pic of her from about 3-4 weeks ago. I'll have new pics of the eggs tommorow.

Congratulations. What locale was the male?

My female finally ate after not wanting food since 3/20.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from. I really think they're a pretty cross and dig the ones I've seen. To each their own though. I have most of them spoken for, and everyone who gets one will know directly from me exactly what they are. Peace

I remember you doing this cross last year. I haven't any pics from that, so I'm assuming you didn't produce anything? Oh well, make sure and post pics when they hatch!
