Sunglow babies

Voodoo_Charlie Apr 25, 2006 01:20 AM

I have a SHTCT that bred to my albino female, resulting in two gorgeous little boys (both new breeders, and me too, so unfortunately things were a bit rocky). Anyway, I'm curious as to when the bands start to fade into more sunglow coloration, because now they just look like really bright albinos. I've seen baby sunglows looking the same, just curious how long it takes for their colors to start to blend.

I hatched sunglows out a little bit ago. After talking to some other breeders I found that after about 3 months they start to color up and fill in. If they are going to get bright it wont be for another 4 or 5 months if your lucky a little sooner. Just keep them in nice temps and they will color up fine.

Kirmy is nearly 2 years old and her bands have long ago faded to spots but her spots to this day are still fading away little by little
