I just received an email from a MHD keeper who has had a pair of MHDs for about 9 years. These were purchased as fully mature adults. That gives us a new insight to the life expectancy of these wonderful little guys. I figure that if they have had this pair for 9 years and they are full grown at 2-3 years this pair would have to be 11-12 years of age at the minimum. This is a WC pair. This could mean 15-20 years for a well kept animal or a CB raised from a hatchling. Of course this is just a guess but it seems a bit more realistic having this bit of info.

Just though you all might be interested, besides, the forum has been terribly slow!
