Tree Boas have been historically characterized as among the most mean-tempered of all snakes. That proves unfair however. They are not for kids or the novice because they have some very specific requirements to keep them healthy in captivity. Captive bred and born animals are by far better managed; wild-caught imports are not worth the risk generally. ETBs are not as prone to bite as ATBs, but neither is a good choice for a keeper who needs to handle a snake as one might a kingsnake. Its an unique group that make beautiful display animals and with the proper setup, they are a joy to keep.

Well fella to be honest I only understood about 5 percent of what the hell you just typed, YO YO? here we go....

amazons= bite often, easy to breed, require alot of cage cleaning, musk, very alert, and tend to be a bad snake for those who are lazy.

overall a easy ARBOREAL snake to keep,

From what I can tell you may be better taking some time to read care sheets on corallus.com.

Hey Joe, how are the Amazons doing? Got any babies on the way?

It's been a while for me, but I can remember the THRILL . . .

I dont find them to difficult in the care department. If your looking for a snake to hold and show off you are looking into the wrong snake.
They are display animals. I handle only when needed for cage cleaning.
They are great snakes though. Very fun to watch.
