Rack Plans?

the_jackel Apr 25, 2006 10:06 AM

Hey Everyone...Does anyone know where I can find some plans on building breeding and hatchling racks? I am fairly good building stuff but would like a roadmap to see and get me started...especially as it relates to the heating and security.

A website or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

Here is a link to some I built a year or so ago.
I made mine so that the bottom of the tub slid on the boards but next set I make I will make the tub slide more on the rails, and have a little bit of space on the bottom.

Thanks Jason...A couple of quick questions - how does this style of design hold humidity? There seems to be 2 prevalent styles the "box" with allsides enclosed and your style more of an open design (like a wine rack).

Secondly, you mention your next rack would have rails instead...why? What is the benefit?

Thanks again

Sean

Any one else have some plans I can see...or detailed pictures?
