that make it all worthwhile.

I received a call this morning from a recent buyer, I had shipped her BRB on Monday and was due to arrive today. She was gushing and couldn't say enough about how much she liked her new BRB, how colorful it is, how docile it is, how big it is. She was quite happy with her purchase, she actually got a really good deal, one of my lower price point babies had colored up more than the rest. She even offered to pay more for it when I told her she was getting a good deal. Of course I said no, I had it listed at a price and that would be the price.

It's kind of funny being the breeder and seeing the screamer - outstanding specimens (my keepers ) I tend to think of the rest as "not so screamer" specimens while to most they are fabulous.

as an owner of a pair of your beautiful BRBs, I have to say they are wonderful. My two have been "home from camp" for quite awhile now, and their color gets better and better with each shed. I am getting ready to move them up to a larger cage. They never miss a meal, and yet are easily handled. Ya do good stuff, Dave!

How ya doing??? I still bring you and our situation up in conversation fairly often.

For the other readers, Kare picked out a pair of neonate BRB's back in late Dec 2004? She lived in Minnesota and the weather just would not cooperate and I was unable to ship for 3 months. We traded emails quit often during that time, you didn't want to impose and I didn't want you to have to wait so long. For me a couple of extra mouths to feed....np! I composed several emails from the "happy campers" telling "mom" how camp was and what they were eating etc. etc. We had a lot of fun with tht one...at least I did Finally at the end of March the weather changed and the campers got to go home from camp.

You are at the top of my "A" list customers, I've had many customers purchase more BRB's. None were more fun to deal with, few even came close. Post some pics of those lil darlings.

My latest babies are doing even better. I invested some of the the proceeds into three rino raxx from the boaphile and the babies simply thrive in them.

My whole point was you customers that make the selling part fun are where it's really at. I'd MUCH rather sell a pair at a time to the Kare's, Andrea's, Linda's and Jeff's (to name a few) of the world then to sell volumes to some of the other buyers I've had.

And yes I know that I produce great looking BRB's but I am spoiled with my keepers. Should be evolving my line into brighter and bolder babies as the years progress.

I only bought one. However, I DID wait a whole year on a list. The female I purchased from you is still doing well and I am pleased with her. I certainly wish my situation was different and wouldn't hesitate to choose a nice male to accompany her from you. Funny you posted this.....just today I was able to talk with in person the only other BRB keeper in Lubbock that I know. I sold him pick of the litter at less than wholesale price for his help (and hopefully continued help ) for probing a select few of my litter last year. I am thrilled that she's doing well. This is only the 2nd person that has one of my babies that I have been sorta able to get progress reports on. Sure makes me feel good to hear some feedback. I'll try to get some updated pics of my crew sometime in the near future.

Linda,
...Emails to you are getting bounced back undelivered. I will do a scale count on one or more PRBs in the next couple days.

LOL. We did have a good time with the camp stories. I especially loved the camp crafts "they" made. They are still on my frig!
I don't have any pics more recent than Dec. and my girl is about to shed, so I'll take pics in a week or two and post them.
I do plan to get another one or two BRBs from you within the next two years, so keep on working on the new color line.

Dave,
...It is great to hear that snakes that we have had are doing well in the hands of their new owners. I sell many of my babies at the NRBE in Daytona (used to be in Orlando). Every year I get to see many people there who have bought snakes from me in the past. Many times I have even had people tell me that they are breeding snakes which they got as babies from me. I wholesale more babies than I sell to individuals. I sometimes wonder what happens to all those snakes.
