incubator question

this is just a question out of curiosity, i wouldnt actualy do it.

would it be possible to incubate cornsnake and ball python eggs in the same incubator?

Jake,

It would be possible, though I wouldn't recommend it, as the minimum incubation temps for ball pythons would be at the upper limit of the scale for your corn snake eggs. Keep in mind, the core temperature within an egg is normally 2-3*F above the ambient temperature of the incubation box, due to the energy expenditure required for embryonic development. Excess heat within developing eggs has been linked to a variety of physical anomalies, such as spinal kinking, and high levels of embryonic mortality. For these reasons, I'd highly suggest you incubate eggs of different genus separately.
