I have a young WC racer (C. c. anthicus)which has not yet eaten in captivity. Would a live mouse or a frozen/thawed be a better break-in meal?
Any ideas?

I recently got a young wc C.c.oaxaca (Mexican racer), and it has fed better than some of my cbb rat snakes, so far! It took a live pinky mouse a few days ago and it took an f/t pinky today. It is pretty flighty and defensive, and does not like me looking at it, so I have all of the walls on it's cage blocked with newspaper.
