Out here in CA, we have seen record amounts of rain.....I notice on some of the Weather sites, rain has fallen on various locales in alterna-land....have any regions received normal amounts of rain, or is it pretty much still in a drought?

Gerald, Tom and Maureen Eisele evidentally hit a bad window over in California, so they came back to Texas and tried their luck last night on the River road. I think a little rain hit 4 nights ago, but they called today and said they had the whole road to themselves and the conditions seemed perfect, except for one thing.................HIGH PRESSURE and clear skies. The temps were good but they saw a total of zero snakes. They are heading through central Texas probably at this time and were going to hit South Texas, but since the conditions will suck, they may be headed back to the East coast to flip some tin. All in all, the conditions are not right,...yet! Give it a few days. Rain is in the forecst!

Dianna and I were in Freer and was about 5 miles away from the "Tornado" at one point. We never actually saw it though.
Not much moving except for amphibs all night long. 1 garter.
Even hunted in the rain a bit. Dianna wanted to River Walk and was getting creeped out by the amount of men camped around our room so we went to San Antonio on Wed. Just got back today.
If figures though. Hasn't rained in south texas in 6 months, I get to the area and it is hailing, tornados, rain, flooding, etc... I know they needed it but damn...
Best Wishes,
Steven
SteveO,
Yes we were. I wish I new you were. We did'nt see anything either. We bailed out to Georgia and have been here 2 days. Going back to N.Y. Monday. We"ll be back for the next new moon. Hope to see you then.
Did we pass you on 624 on Tuesday night at around midnight? We passed someone and I thought it was your maroon vehicle but I couldn't remember...
Hope you are having better luck in Georgia. Dianna and I had lots of fun getting fat on the river walk.
Take Care,
Steven
