Hi, do your leos dig in the sand?? because freddie never does. Also, do leos need water because i've never seen freddie drink and im a bit worried. And I'm going to get some fake plants for a desert look any I deas Tank pics?? thanks

he is probably getting enuff water from his prey... otherwise he would drink, i dunno bout the digging thing tho, i guess sum do and sum dont

some leos dig, some don't. leos DO drink and need water available to them 24/7 but they drink more in small sips than in huge amounts so thats probably why you don't see him drinking.

I would leave a little cap or bowl of water in there even if you don't see him drink. Just in case and he probably does drink at night when your not watching. And the digging that's just for fun i guess. That's not a bad sign or nothing. Hope iTt Helps, R.J.

Digging is more of an individual preference from what I have seen. Like Cleopatra said some do, and some don't. As for water, I have seen all of mine drink out of their bowl except for Popeye. I would suggest having water in their cage at all times. You should change the water frequently (some suggest every day, but evry other day or so should do), and give the bowl a rinse to reduce bacterial build up. That's what I do.
