Lost Burmese Mtn Tort (NJ)

I screwed up and left a gate open, allowing the family pet Burmese Mtn Tort to escape. Argh! She is about 12-13" SCL with a blackish shell. I have looked all over and am thinking someone probably picked her up. This is in Central NJ. I know this is a longshot, but if anyone sees here anywhere, please contact me. My daughter is heartbroken. TIA.

Just about everyone who has posted here about lost a tortoise seems to find it eventually. I know that's not much consolation, but don't give up hope!

Thanks for the response...I did post a few dozen flyers and it rained a few days later....argh! Now working on a waterproof batch. I sure hope I have the same luck as everyone else here!
