Anybody know of any books out of print or still in print that deal specifically w/ the various types of Hognose snakes?

Hognose Snakes by Adele Richardson (2003)

Generally, I find books on the captive husbandry of most herps to be completely inadequate or downright wrong. Make sure you doublecheck what you read in that book with the people on this forum!

The 3 books I've read on keeping kingsnakes & milksnakes have been pretty thorough and a good help prior to me obtaining my snakes. On the other hand I've run into a few books/articles on keeping certain herps that I've found have little merit and seem to have been compiled from already available general info rather than from personal experience over an extended period of time.
I value being able to "triangulate" information; what I read, what I learn from knowledgable & experienced others and my own personal experiences. Thank you for the info.

It seems as though you are ahead of the curve when it comes to deciphering info, so you should be good. I like your use of the word triagulate, and I hope you don't mind me using it in the future!
