Hi, I've decided to get either a Cali King or desert Cali King (though it was a hard choice, for the variable kings are gorgeous). Is there a difference in size between the sexes, like males growing larger than females? Also, I plan on starting the baby on newspaper or aspen in a ten gallon tank. What would you guys suggest for the substrate? Lastly, what is the optimal temps for these two different species. Most caresheets I've read aren't specific. Thanks, I appreciate all advice and help!
