Hershey was a wild youngster a few years back that my nephew handed me, he could not even hold him. Nor could I but letting him free roam with a couple collareds, and a while down the road he now is a real PET. He eats from my hand and I can pick him up any time and he's as docile as can be.
Patience and kindness does pay off.
