I can be wrong but I always thought Ringers have a white (or lighter) ring around their body. But when I search on the internet I see Ringers who look like I described and Ringers who look like the one in this post. So I'm a bit confused here.

Can someone explain this to me please???

I don't see anything about that snake that would make it a "ringer". Maybe by ringer he meant like"winner" or "gem" or something...?
