I have two desert torts and I think their shells are starting to pyramid. I have been following this care sheet: http://www.anapsid.org/tortdiet.html and I am confused. I found one website that says the dandilions and "leafy" greens such as grape leaves and endive should be the core of the diet. But this care sheet listed above says that the diet of greens should be half, or ideally less of the diet. Please, some help with the confusion. I have been feeding a mix of collard and mustard greens with a few types of squash. They have been eating so well, and just about a week or so ago, I started really noticing the change in their shells. Should they not have been eating that the who time? I have tried chopping up some Bermuada Grass, but the don't want anything to do with it. How do I solve this problem? I did research, but now I am confused, because what I was feeing seems to not be what they are supposed to eat. Please someone help me straighten this all out.
